As the game starts, the dealer deals out the cards starting from his left onwards. Once the cards are dealt, the players can either check, call the last bet, raise the last bet or simply fold. Remember, a player can only check if no bet has been made and he or she is first to bet in that round.
Most casino sites allow up to three rounds of betting in poker. As soon as the first player places his or her bet, the player next to him can choose any one of the aforesaid options. However, in order to stay in the game, a player must at least bet an amount equal to the last player’s bet. If you think your hand isn’t good enough, you can anytime fold to forfeit your bet.
