Roulette is an 18th century signature French game, which means ‘small wheel’. Together with blackjack and craps, roulette is becoming a mainstay in online casinos. Each pocket is coloured either black or red.
In roulette the wheel is spun in one direction, and then the ball is spun in the opposite direction at the top of the wheel itself. If the ball drops into one of the pockets you’ve placed you bet on, you win.
Low house advantage is another major reason why roulette is so popular among the casino gamblers fraternity. Most roulette wheels have only 2 house pockets in addition to 37 or 38 numbered pockets.
